KNOW A LITTLE MORE ABOUT THE MATERIAL USED IN MARQUEST NEEDLE VALVES

Marquest needle valves
The Marquest needle valves are slender and have a tapered point, at the end of the valve stem. The valve stem is lowered through the seat, to block the flow. It has a very small valve that can regulate the liquid flow, very accurately. It also has a precision resistance to flow through the fine threading. The only disadvantage of this type of valve is that it has a low pressure limitation; that means, the valve cannot handle a high pressure. It also has no slurries.
PVC

CPVC

The only disadvantage of PVC is that it cannot withstand extreme temperature. CPVC overcomes this disadvantage and it can be used in distributing high temperature liquids as well.
PVDF
The polyvinylidene fluoride is a processable fluoropolymer. It is similar to that of floropolymer but has greater strength. It has lower creep than other materials. It has wear and tear resistance, chemical resistance and can be used in extreme temperatures too.
Polypropylene
The polypropylene is a thermoplastic material. This can be used for extreme cold fluid. It has bi-axial strength, elongation properties, resistance to chemicals, weather, UV, ozone and is fatigue resistant. It has all the features of PVC but can be used in extreme cold conditions.
The application of Marquest needle valves is very wide and in varying industries. Based on the type of the material used and the other specifications, the needle valve can be used in many applications where precision and accuracy are very important. It is used commonly in controlling liquids that are expensive or that has to be used only in certain amount like in chemical and oil industries. It is also commonly used in laboratory settings for research and other experimental purposes.
